What you need to know about creating and developing clubs and societies...
An excellent way to spend your free time or to meet new people or to gain new talents is to be part of a club or society. Its really easy to set up and we at your exec are here to guide you every step of the way. To set up a society you all you need is: a great idea, your clubsociety can be anything you like (within reason) Here's some areas for you to consider sports, cultural/national interests, music/drama, faith based. Particular hobbies or pursuits, academic-based societies – more or less anything else you can think of really! Once you have an idea of what your society will be for, you will need to find students from within your college or the other UHI Academic Partners to be a part of it. You can include staff members if you want. To register you group with UHISA, please complete the Registration Form here. Once you have successfully registered and would like to receive financial support for your activities, please complete the Finance Application Form here.
