UHISA Teaching Awards
The UHISA Teaching Awards for this year are now closed
What are the awards? - This is your chance to vote for the best lecturers and support staff you have encountered in your time at the University. The awards are judged by a select student panel who decide the winners based on what you say and not the number of votes they get. There are eight awards to choose from but you can only cast one nomination, so choose wisely!
Why should I nominate someone? - We know that there are great University staff out there, this it’s your chance to give them the recognition they deserve.
How do I nominate? – The awards will open Monday 25th March 2013 until 30th April and you can nominate on the www.uhisa.org.uk; click the UHISA Teaching Awards button on the home page. This will direct you to a list of awards, the definitions and a nomination form. Please complete the form giving as much detail as possible about the reasons you are nominating them - it's quality, not quantity that counts!!!.
When will I find out the results? – Results will be posted on the website towards the end of May and the awards will either be presented at the subsequent graduation ceremony, at a relevant prize-giving ceremony or to the tutor directly. There will also be articles about the successful nominees in a number of UHI publications.
