The Curriculum for the 21st Century aka C21C
As students of the UHI, the changes proposed by this endeavour will affect you all.
The ultimate aim is to "Enhance the learning experience of our students and create a sustainable curriculum"
It is really important that we are all aware of the changes proposed and feed into the planning of these changes. Students often have a different perspective and we need to make sure that our voices are heard. UHI needs your help in ensuring that the proposed changes provide benefits for all.

You are invited to express your opinion directly to Gary Campbell at C21C@uhi.ac.uk, the Dean of Learning and Teaching, at the Student Consultation which will take place on:
Friday 16th September 2011 from 11 am - 12:30 pm
by Video Conference (here is the list of VC rooms booked for you)
The student consultation will focus upon Consultation paper 1: Contact hours. As we move from 15 credit modules to 20 credit modules, there are implications for the amount of time tutors are allocated to teach and mark assessments; it is also important to consider how this will change the structure of our degrees - 3 modules per semester instead of 4.
This document should be read in conjunction with the C21C framework or the summary document - it is important that it is considered within this context.
