The first UHI Inverness Climbing Club. This is a very new club and I'm trying to get it established.
If you have a few evenings spare, enjoy climbing and would like to meet other students, the UHI climbing club just might be for you!
This club has only just started this academic year, so we need to recruit as many new climbers as possible!
The idea of this club is to have several climbing evenings a week, you don’t have to turn up to every session but if you would like to climb, you know someone from the club will be there.
This club is not run by UHI or UHISA.
Open for anyone studying at UHI or Inverness College.
If this club were to take off; we would climb at Inverness Leisure centre a few evenings each week. Initial prices will just be for the cost of using the facilities, (below).
1 Session - £3.90 (with student card).
10 Sessions - £31.20 (with student card).
Or for unlimited use of leisure centre, (as part of the high life scheme), including leisure centres across the highlands.
Monthly - £16.80 (no student card required)
Annually - £201.60 (no student card required)
Equipment hire costs, (if you dont have your own).
Shoes: £2.80
Harness: £2.80
Belay Device: £2.80
These prices may be subject to change. I'm hoping however that if we do get a club going we can ask for a better discount or invest in club equipment.
