This award recognises lecturers who inspire students to achieve as much as they can through their approach to teaching and their engagement with both students and subject content.
Most Engaging Videoconference Ttutor
This award recognises tutors who demonstrate an exceptional use of video-conferencing technology to enhance the UHI student experience.
Most Engaging Online Tutor
This award recognises online tutors who engage, motivate and inspire students through their exceptional use of the UHI virtual learning environment.
Best Assessment Feedback
This award recognises tutors who excel in the provision of assessment feedback to students and recognise its central importance in student learning.
Best Personal Academic Tutor (PAT)
This award recognise staff who excel in the provision of support and guidance to individual students through their role as Personal Academic Tutor (PAT).
Best Research or Disseration Supervisor
This award recognises supervisors who show exceptional commitment and ability to help students undertake a piece of self-directed research.
Outstanding Student Support
This award recognises that there are a whole range of staff that have an impact on your student experience, not just teaching staff. For example: Student Support/Services; Librarians; UHI Helpdesk/VC Master; Finance Office; basically anyone that doesn’t have a teaching role.
Best Preparation for the Workplace
This award recognises staff who have use a range of resources to prepare students for the workplace, this could include CV/interview preparation, organising employer visits or lectures, supporting placements or job shadowing opportunities, or providing students with a supported personal development planning framework.
