Compass online is the electronic version of UHI's internal newsletter for staff and students

The National Union of Students (NUS) can offer loads of advice to students about a range of issues relating to both Further and Higher Education

Access Aberdeen University's career section for employment vacancies advertised within Highlands & Islands, as well as elsewhere in the UK.


Refworks is a handy tool to help with referencing for assignments. Both Athens and Jstor can also be very helpful resources

Google - The classic search engine

Wikipedia - For anything about everything, but double-check the information you get from it before using it for your assignments!

Careers Scotland can help you to use the experience and qualifications you have to make informed choices about your career path
